WASHINGTON, D.C.
Craving seafood? You’re in luck: A new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls, the new arrival, an outlet of the chain, is located at 1303 19th St. NW in Dupont Circle.
As its name implies, lobster rolls, prepared in a variety of ways, are the specialty at the restaurant. Other menu items include lobster salad, lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese and New England clam chowder.
The restaurant has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Gurpal K., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 20, wrote, “Ordered the Connecticut roll for pickup today and it was so good. The lobster itself was delicious and the bread — oh my. Just perfect.”
Yelper Christina M. added, “The lobster rolls were delicious, and I can’t imagine a more perfect summer meal. There are a bunch of different options, so you can have your lobster roll exactly how you like it — hot, cold, lobster salad, and there’s even a Bar Harbor option if you’re feeling fancy that includes the lobster tail.”
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
